Do these concrete items require assembly?
Always seek the assistance of another physically capable adult to assist you in assembling your products. Never try to assemble products on your own and DO NOT ask children to assist you. Failure to seek proper assistance may result in you injuring yourself / others and may result in damage / breakage to your product.

Are there assembly instructions with my product(s)?
Always follow all assembly instructions. If you are unsure how to assemble the product contact the business where you purchased the product from for support and assistance. Do not use the product if you cannot understand or are missing any instructions.

What types of things do I need to know about use of my concrete products?
Follow Warning Instructions and or signs on the outside of carton boxes to understand how to unpack products.

How should my products be used?
ALL Tables are designed ONLY as a table to place light weight items & objects on. Tables ARE NOT designed to support any human weight – Do not sit on tables. All chairs / stools MUST ONLY be used for sitting on by one person at any time. No rocking back and forth on any chair or stool is permitted. NEVER USE ANY TABLE AND OR CHAIR TO STAND ON, JUMP ON / OFF AND NEVER USE FURNITURE AS A STEP LADDER.

How many people are needed to assemble my concrete tables?
NEVER pick up OR MOVE any Perpetual Table that is in excess of 60 inches long / 150 CMS without one person on each side lifting the tabletop together at the same time. Failure to pick up the tabletop at the same time can cause fracturing / cracking of the tabletop.

If I need to move my concrete table, can I move it without disassembling it?
If you need to move a table, DO NOT move the table and base together. Remove the top from the table pedestal base(s) and then move it to the desired location.

If I need to store my concrete tables when not in use, how should I store them?
All large tabletops should be stored (in their original packaging) vertically on their longest side. Do not stack large table tops flat one on top of another, doing so can crack the tabletops stored below.

Are all the concrete items the same?
This collection of products is handmade. Variation in color, dimensions and weight are inherent to the product’s design and cannot be claimed as a defect.

How are the concrete items different?
Your product may include any one or a combination of the following – all are considered normal and
acceptable and are not a defect:
Small light or dark spots or light discolorations.
Small hairline cracks can appear but do not affect the quality of the product.
The original color will change over time.

Does concrete stain and if so, how do I protect against staining?
Concrete is a porous product and is prone to absorption of oils, acids, and chemicals. Follow these steps to protect your product and maintain a good protective seal SHIPPED WITH EACH CONCRETE PRODUCT IS A 3.0ML BOTTLE OF CONCRETE POTECTIVE LIQUID. APPLY IT BEFORE USING YOUR
TABLE TO AVOID STAINING.

If I seal my concrete items / tables, does it mean stains cannot occur?
Even if your product is sealed, use mats and coasters on table surfaces to protect against stains and heat damage. Never cook, heat, BBQ or use any form of heat on any concrete product. Product is not designed to hold any hot item.

Do I only need to seal my concrete products once?
Depending on where and how often you use your Perpetual Collection product, we recommend more regular application of the Protection Spray / Liquid (especially for outdoor use or heavy soiling from acid based and or oil based foods and other liquids at a minimum 3-4 times per year. The protective spray ONLY provides temporary protection to wipe up nature, food and liquid stains. If you fail to wipe up spills, the surface could stain.

Will my concrete items be affected by sunlight?
Occasionally, you can encounter rapid bleaching or changes to the concrete color as a result of extreme sunshine intensity / high UV light. You can manage this by periodically rotating your product and applying wax (see below) to the concrete surface.

How should I clean my concrete products?
ONLY use non-dyed regular dish cleaning soap. Mix soap with cool / cold, clean water. Only use a soft, clean cloth and apply soapy water to concrete surfaces using the soft cloth to remove dried debris from the concrete. Do not use any type of water jets or high-pressured hoses. Rinse concrete table with cool, clean water and then using a soft, clean cloth, mop up all excess water and dry the concrete off. When furniture is completely dry (5 to 6 hours on a sunny day) then re-apply the Seasonal Living protective spray.

My concrete product also includes Reclaimed Teak. What do I need to know about these items?
This Collection is a combination of the lightweight Perpetual Concrete and reclaimed teak wood. “Reclaimed Teak” has a rich color, tight grain, and legendary durability only found in Asian teak. Much of our reclaimed or recycled teak comes from old growth teak. Lumber that once formed structures to a house, fishing boat and warehouses.

Will my reclaimed teak keep its original color over time?
Teak is an exceptionally strong hardwood that can live outside with no problem. However, the sunlight does change the color of the wood from its original soft, honey brown tone to a silver grey. If that is not the look you are after, use protective covers on furniture and follow a program for Teak Care.

Can my concrete products stay outside all year long?
While your concrete merchandise can withstand severe cold (Maximum cold resistance 5 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 15 degrees Celsius), you must follow these steps to further protect your merchandise: Ideally, we would recommend you be able to move your concrete furniture into a sheltered location. If this is not possible, we recommend that you cover the furniture with a professional grade furniture cover. DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO BUILD UP BETWEEN THE COVER AND THE FABRIC DURING FREEZING CONDITIONS. If you cannot purchase a good cover, consider adding a layer of polystyrene foam between the table and your cover. Your goal must be to avoid a wet furniture cover coming into contact with the concrete and freezing.

What should I do if my concrete item is exposed to snow or ice?
If your product is in a location where the base of the product will regularly come into contact with snow and ice, we recommend that you try raising the base of the product a few inches off the ground. Seek the assistance of someone else who can help you to either raise the product or make sure that
base is protected from ice and snow build up.
