Ingot FAQs

Our hand-hammered and hand crafted, copper Ingot collection, is made by a small group of craftsmen who have learned their craft by knowledge passed down through the centuries. Nothing in this collection is mass produced, while we try to follow similar dimensional information and aesthetic appearances, every item in this collection will be unique.

Each piece is supported by an interior structural support or skeleton providing strong, rigid structure for in or outdoor use. Each piece of the steel interior structure is powder-coated minimizing the chances of rusting of the steel support structure.

Adjustable levelers are attached on the base of most items at the corners specifically in this collection allowing you to adjust heights and levels to create a stable surface on an uneven surface. Always make sure that each piece is always perfectly level. Levelers are adjusted by rotating the levelers on the base of each Ingot piece. Failure to create level / stable furniture or decorative items can lead to your merchandise tipping or falling and damaging the exterior copper structure and or causing bodily injury to you or to others.

Our Ingot Collection includes a finish and a sealant-lacquer (Permalac®) applied for protection, nevertheless, this sealant-lacquer is just to protect the product from the weather elements.

Avoid the hot wax from candles; boiling water or any kind of hot liquids from coming into contact with the Ingot merchandise item, this could damage the protective sealant / coating.

Regular cleaning of the product should be done with gentle dish soap, a soft, nonabrasive clean cloth and warm water. Rinse thoroughly, wipe off any remaining water and allow to air dry.

Product Installed Outdoors will need regular attention and care. Rain, wind, sand, hail, snow, and numerous other weather elements, will wear away at the metal, tarnishing and aging its appearance quickly. ALWAYS use a breathable protective furniture cover when not using the merchandise.

Chemical cleaners. Strong chemicals can eat away at finishes and cause negative reactions on surfaces. Products to avoid when cleaning your (C, A or CS) product include:

• Bleach, ammonia, rubbing alcohol and baking soda.
• Products manufactured for wood, tile or window cleaning.
• Abrasive cleaners or Copper polish.
• Polishing compounds not meant for this purpose.
