Recently, our Provenance Signature Collection by Laura Muller was the subject of a photo shoot. We are thrilled to share some of those images and insight into the process. The images, photographed by Public 311 Design, highlight the flexibility and sophistication of the pieces. Seeing the collection as the designer intended illustrates how beautifully they adapt to indoor|outdoor living. Laura’s designs and material specifications paired her unique aesthetic with Seasonal Living’s goal to help clients live beautifully indoors and outdoors throughout the seasons.
THE MOTIVATION
The goal of the Provenance Signature Collection photo shoot was to capture the product in real-time with real-life applications. Showcasing the collection this way highlights its practicality. Furthermore, it sets it apart as a “designer-driven” collection, unique and specific. Many images of the collection were captured, with a particular focus on lifestyle imagery to help buyers and designers imagine the pieces for their clients and/or themselves. Also captured were images of Laura and her husband, Cliff. Together, the duo runs the award-winning design-build firm Four Point Design Build in Southern California. The objective was to show off these exquisite pieces, but also make a connection to the design mind behind them.
WHAT WAS INVOLVED
A great deal of planning is required for any photo shoot. This one was no exception. There are storyboards to create, photographers to hire, accessories and props to acquire, and plenty of styling to complete… right up to the last minute. To maximize the output of the shoot, Laura worked with the team at Public 311 Design to style and shoot images that could be used to highlight different seasons, scenarios, and uses of the collection.
UP NEXT
The collection has been extremely well-received by the design community. With the success of the initial offering, we are currently working with Laura to expand the line to offer even more of her unique ideas with Seasonal Living’s commitment to stylish and durable products for indoor and outdoor living.
