In April, Seasonal Living returned once again to High Point Furniture Market. It is always good to be at High Point Market, the largest home furnishings trade show in the world. For this spring 2022 market, we expanded our space to highlight the best of Seasonal Living and present new products. Here’s a recap of the event.
The Showroom
The look of our showroom this year was created with soft, earthy tones to serve as a neutral background for our vignettes of products. The vignettes showed a wide range of our products for residential and contract design… for our interpretation of OUTDOOR IN (indoor or outdoor use). We were fortunate to partner once again with Revel Woods for the beautiful flooring and Jaipur Living for exquisite rugs to bring our space to life. For a full view of the showroom, watch the video below.
Product Highlights
INGOT
Along with many of our existing products, we showed many new additions to our collections. Among the favorites during this market were several new additions to our brand new INGOT collection. This collection, which has always been a fan favorite, has been expanded this year to include new products and finishes. Crafted from hand-hammered aluminum and coated with other beautiful metals this expanded new collection not only reinforces our approach to OUTDOOR IN, but offers materials at an affordable price that perform perfectly in outdoor environments. What has not changed is the practicality and functionality of these one-of-a-kind, hand-hammered pieces. The materials and treatment of these products make them perfect for indoor or outdoor use. That includes the fire features, fueled by SuperBio Fuel. In fact, one of our new INGOT fire tables (Andean Fire table) caught quite a bit of attention, including that of Style Spotter Monika Nessbach, who put it on her list of must-see items at High Point Market.
PROVENANCE SIGNATURE COLLECTION
We are very excited this year to also add new products to our newest collection, PROVENANCE SIGNATURE COLLECTION. This collection, designed by Laura Muller, was introduced last year and has become extremely popular for both residential and commercial applications. Due to its success last year, we have added new products and have more in the works. For this market, we showed many of the existing pieces and some new table options. The round and square CORE dining tables are created with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) and feature a metal band around the edge of the table. The band serves as a design element, but also creates a subtle ‘bumper’ to protect the tables when butted one against the other. This is a great solution for contract design, allowing for individual or buffet-style dining options.
CERAMICS
As a mainstay of Seasonal Living, our ceramic tables are always on colorful display at High Point Market. This market was no exception and the lineup of tables included many of the tables from our PROVENANCE SIGNATURE COLLECTION. Our ceramic tables continue to be a hit largely due to their quality and rich color profiles. These hand-crafted tables are built to withstand outdoor conditions and would make a stylish addition to any outdoor space, but they are so chic that you’ll want to use them indoors, too.
SEASONAL LIVING DESIGN CHALLENGE AWARD CEREMONY
One of the brightest highlights of this market was the award ceremony and cocktail party we hosted for the winners of the SEASONAL LIVING DESIGN CHALLENGE. It was a wonderful event to celebrate the accomplishments of the winning designers in our first-ever design contest. The event was co-hosted by Jenna Giadusek, founder of eDesign Tribe, who was also the co-producer of the design challenge.
Guests mixed and mingled throughout our showroom while enjoying Aperol Spritzes and cupcakes from BabyCakes Gourmet Designer Cupcakes. The air was filled with excitement as the group waited for the presentation of the awards.
The winners were announced and their awards presented. Unfortunately, first-place winner, Rebekah Correll, and second-place winner, Elaine Chan, were not able to attend High Point Market this spring, as they were both out of the country. However, third-place winner, Gloribell Lebron, was present to accept her award and bask in the glow of the moment.
We’d like to thank everyone who attended the awards ceremony. We were thrilled to honor the winning designers in this way. We are looking forward to similar events in the future.
Connections
High Point Furniture Market is always exciting. It is an opportunity to see new and innovative design and learn through the many presentations and panels offered. However, it is much more than that. It is a chance to see many familiar faces of the folks that we have met over the years and create new connections. If you were not able to attend High Point Market this spring, we hope to see you at an upcoming trade event. If you were at High Point, we thank you for coming to see us.
