We are pleased to announce the release of Seasonal Living Magazine – Fall 2022. This edition is chock full of autumn goodness and color. It includes tasty seasonal recipes, fall fragrance, better sleep, and more. We hope you are inspired to get the most out of indoor|outdoor living this season.
The cover for this issue features a fall table setting from a recent photo shoot for our PROVENANCE SIGNATURE COLLECTION by Laura Muller. In fact, the photo was styled by Laura herself at her California home. You can learn more about the photo shoot in our recent blog post. And, of course, you can learn more about this beautiful collection right here on our site.
WHAT’S INSIDE
For this issue, we were inspired by the wonderful city of Buenos Aires. It is bursting with glorious color and intriguing architecture and history. We carried that inspiration through to our recipes, including dulce de leche (page 12). The recipes are good for anytime this season, but are perfect for a twist on Thanksgiving this year. Speaking of holiday entertaining, don’t miss our list of fall fragrance candles (page 17).
Get the most out of the cooler temperatures by getting a little extra sleep. Our better bedtime routines article (page 19) will put you on the right path. But before you nod off, have a look at our design section, featuring two distinct Chicago area ‘new build’ projects from designers Amy Storm and Dan Rak.
BEAUTIFUL BUENOS AIRES
This captivating city is the perfect mix of European flair and South American style. You will find everything from food to arts to world-class museums and shopping. The setting is exquisite architecture on the coast with a decidedly Latin vibe. Take a tango lesson, catch a soccer match, or wander through one of the many beautiful parks.
THANKSGIVING WINNERS
Get ready for a Thanksgiving twist.
Your guests will never expect to see sweet potatoes like this. We roasted them and transformed them into sweet potato gnocchi. The result is pillowy nuggets of sweet potato pasta that are as pretty as they are tasty. Keeping with our Buenos Aires theme, we topped them with chimichurri sauce. The combination is unexpected and delightful. Our dessert recipe is a layered dish with alfajores cookie, seasonal apples, and dulce de leche. Don’t count on leftovers.
FALL FRAGRANCE
The entertaining section of the fall 2022 edition of Seasonal Living Magazine provides you with a list of 20 fall fragrance candles. From warm woods and smoky bourbon to fall spices and soothing vanilla, this list is all you need to bring the smell of autumn into your home.
BETTER BEDTIMES
Fall is the perfect time to get a little more shut-eye. More than 30% of Americans do not get enough sleep on a regular basis. The problem for many starts with their bedtime routine. We have put together a solid plan to get you ready for a restful night’s sleep.
DESIGN DISCOVERY
Our design section features two very different ‘new build’ projects in the Chicago area. The first project (page 22), by Amy Storm, was meant to be a modern farmhouse but ended up being much more modern than farmhouse. The second, in a trendy (once industrial) part of downtown, was designed by Dan Rak. His respect for the old building and neighborhood resulted in an industrial chic space you must see (page 31).
SNEAK PEEK
Lastly, we are very excited to announce that we have a new line coming very soon. Our PERPETUAL COLLECTION will soon include a new line of our signature lightweight concrete (ivory white and slate gray) in beautiful shapes, but with finely handcrafted metallic finishes. The new pieces are raw yet refined. See some of the new styles on our SNEAK PEEK pages (29-30). This new addition will be released soon. In the meantime, check out the rest of our PERPETUAL COLLECTION.
